On 25th May 2018 new data protection legislation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), came into force across Europe.
Having been brought into UK law, the UK GDPR places additional obligations on all businesses to make sure that they understand the personal data they hold. They’re also required to ensure that all personal data is dealt with in a structured, secure and consistent way.
